Name: Judy Carne

Claim To Fame: If you know of Judy Carne then you certainly know her from the show of "Laugh-In" where her phrase 'sock-it-to-me' became a household word.

Where Is She Now: In 1984 she wrote a book about her life, 'Laughing On The Outside, Crying On The Inside: The Bittersweet Saga of the Sock It To Me Girl.'

This led to a little more face time in America in 1985 where she toured in the talk-show circuit promoting it.

Basically she capitalized on her harrowing drug problem and her disastrous two-year marriage to Burt Reynolds.

Again, however, Judy's resurgence was cut short by more drug arrests.

Since that time she has only appeared occasionally on "Laugh-In" reunions and talk-show spots.

In the 90's she did make a few appearances on 'The Howard Stern Show.' And again it was just a rehash of her troubled life.

Last references I could find is that in 2001 she was living in her birth town of Northampton, England.
