Family Life: Hogan married his Dundee co-star Linda Kozlowski
in 1990 after he and first wife Noelene were divorced after 28 years of marriage. He has five children from his first marriage and one from his second marriage.
Info: It was a comical interview on A Current Affair in the
early 1970s that helped Hogan rise to fame. He developed his own comedy sketch program called The Paul Hogan Show, which he produced, co-wrote, and in which he played a variety of characters with John Cornell. The series ran for 60 episodes
between 1973 and 1984, and showcased Hogan's lighthearted "Aussie Ocker" humor.
During the 1970s, he advertised Winfield cigarettes in a campaign that made the brand a market leader within a few years. His statement "Anyhow- have a Winfield" has become an icon of Aussie culture. He followed this successful ad campaign with a series of television ads promoting the
Australian tourism industry. Throughout the 1980s, he appeared on British television in a long-running series of advertisements for Foster's Lager, in which he played an earthy Australian abroad in London.
His first film, Crocodile Dundee (1986), became the most successful Australian film ever, and launched Hogan's international film career. For his performance, Hogan won a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor - Motion Picture Musical or Comedy, as well as an Academy Award nomination for Best
Original Screenplay, and two BAFTA Award nominations (one for Best Actor, one for Best Original Screenplay). He starred in the sequel, Crocodile Dundee II in 1988, and starred in a handful of other films such as Almost an Angel,

Hogan recently found himself the target of Australian media after being accused of refusing to pay over AU$300 million worth of taxation.
In October of 2008, however, Hogan won a major victory in the tax fight with the Australian Crime Commission, who were forced to cough up millions of taxpayer dollars to pay his legal bills. The ACC has since returned tens of thousands of personal financial documents to Hogan.
When he isn't working, Hogan lives in California.
