Claim To Fame: Most people know Shelley for her role in the TV show
'Charlie's Angels.' In 1979 she was hired as a replacement for Kate Jackson. She
played Tiffany Welles, however, she lasted only one season before she herself
was replaced.
Another claim to fame for Shelley is as the Charlie girl. And by that I mean for
the perfume Charlie. She was the Charlie girl before and during her run on the
show of Charlies Angels (kinda ironic that she was on Charlie's Angels too)
Family Life: Harry Winer (? - present) one child, a daughter named Rose.
Info: Shelley was born July 6, 1952 and was a model from age 16. Then in the 1970s
she was Charlie's perfume girl in TV commercials, after which she went on to
appear in bit parts in TV shows and movies.
Trivia: Starred in the pilot of "Night Court" but was replaced when it made
it to the fall season.
Studied Archeology at the University of Sydney in Australia.
She was a registration and polling station supervisor in the Bosnia-Herzegovina
elections in 1997 and during voter registration in 1998. The Organization for
Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), which is responsible for conducting
elections in Bosnia-Herzegovina, hired her to produce the first-ever televised
presidential debates to be held in the war-torn country.
Where Is She Now: Shelley really hasn't done any acting or modeling in many, many years.
For the past several years she has done some voice over work mainly for TV
specials and biographies.
She has thrown herself into politics and acts as a media consultant for an
international peace-keeping organization in Bosnia.
