William Katt was born to act. The son of actor Bill Williams and actress
Barbara Hale, William grew up watching his mother's performance as Della Street
on the hit TV series Perry Mason. His parents met while filming the comedy 'A
Likely Story' and William came along four years later.
Trivia:
His mother appeared with him in Big Wednesday (1978.
Well known amongst the surfing community for his role as Barlow, in the film
'Big Wednesday' which was released on May 26, 1978.
Auditioned for the part of Luke Skywalker in the original Star Wars (1977)
opposite Kurt Russell, who auditioned for the role of Han Solo.

is He Now:
He still is acting and has two projects filming this year and one in
post-production. None of them are big roles, but you can be certain he will be
noticeable.
Over
the past few years William has done extensive voice work for some cartoons and
video games. Boy it seems many former stars are getting work doing a lot of
this.
