Review: Aliens attack Earth using their dreaded "Plan 9", which involves resurrecting the dead to destroy the living. Schlockmeister Ed Wood's most successful failure is something that has to be seen to be believed. Plan 9 from Outer Space is a bad movie to its core, but there's something pure, enthusiastic, and undeniably entertaining about it. Ed Wood's directorial gusto really makes you admire him. However, this movie is bad, bizarre, incomprehensible at times, cheap, laughable, yet entertaining on a level that most filmmakers would kill for. This is a four star one star movie! - if that makes any sense. It defines the saying, "It's so bad it's good." It begs to be seen. And once you see it you'll want see it again. It's the "Lay's potato chips" of movies; you can't watch it just once. Flying Saucers, the Walking Dead, and Bela Lugosi - What More Do You Need?

Fun Fact: The film's original title was "Grave Robbers from Outer Space", but, supposedly, the Baptist ministers who financed the picture objected to it, so Edward D. Wood Jr. changed it to "Plan 9".
