Review: Wallace and his loyal dog Gromit are the best and the most humane in the pest removal business. When gardens are being ravaged all over town the duo set out to discover who or what is behind this rash of veggie vandalism before the annual giant vegetable growing contest.

Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit is one of the most charming, funny, and inventively entertaining family movies ever! Like a lot of comedy teams, Wallace is the oblivious, but sweet everyman and Gromit, without uttering a line of dialogue, is truly the brains behind the operation and is Wallace's rock no matter what. Our two leads have a strong, humorous relationship that makes us root for them when the dreaded Were-Rabbit starts causing all kinds of trouble.

The stop-motion animation is a feast for the eyes and gives the characters a unique look and style. It's amazing just how expressive and emotional Gromit is throughout the movie. That clay dog has more acting range than the majority of Hollywood these days.

The story is also a hoot! It's a bit of a mystery with plenty of action and tons of hysterical jokes. You'd be hard pressed not to get involved in the hilarious antics of Wallace and Gromit. Plus, it's fun for the whole family. My kids were not looking forward to watching it because they didn't know who Wallace and Gromit were, but not five minutes in they were completely captivated by the funny characters, hilarious hijinks, and the mystery of the Were-Rabbit's curse.

I can't recommend this one enough. Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit is a thoroughly entertaining movie for all. Plus, it'll make you crave a veggie tray and a little ranch for dipping.

Fun Fact: The film, which took five years to make, required 2.8 tons of Plasticine in 42 colors and 1000 baby-wipes per week to wipe it off animators' fingers. Aardman managed an average of 3 seconds of usable footage per day.
