Info: Breslin's first acting role was in a Toys "R" Us commercial at the age of three. In 2002, she appeared in the science fiction thriller Signs, directed by M. Night Shyamalan.

Her breakthrough role came in 2006, when she played beauty pageant contestant Olive Hoover in the comedy-drama Little Miss Sunshine. She then appeared in the 2007 romantic comedy No Reservations alongside Catherine Zeta-Jones, and then with Jodie Foster in the 2008 film Nim's Island. The next year, she starred in My Sister's Keeper.

In February 2010, Breslin made her Broadway debut playing Helen Keller in The Miracle Worker at the Circle in the Square Theatre. Although her performance was praised by critics, ticket sales were low and the show closed in April 2010.
