Claim To Fame: This was actually a hard one. I polled the various editors in the office and asked when I say the name Bridget Fonda what comes to mind. The number one answer was Jane Fonda is her aunt. But when I probed them as far as a movie or TV role, the most popular answer was for her role in "Single White Female."

Family Life: Married to composer and former Oingo Boingo member Danny Elfman since November 2003. They have one son Oliver Henry Milton Elfman born January 2005.

Father is Peter Fonda. Aunt is Jane Fonda and Grandfather is Henry Fonda.

Info: Even though she came from a very active acting family Bridget didn't become interested in acting until she appeared in a high-school production of "Harvey". At 18, she enrolled at New York University and spent four years there and at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute.

Trivia: Cameron Crowe had her in mind when he wrote the movie Singles (1992)

Word is NBC has ordered a TV pilot based on Candace Bushnell's book "Lipstick Jungle". In this book Bushnell (the writer behind Sex and the City) portrays three successful New York Women, who are not looking for Mr. Big but to become their own Mr. Big. The part of the designer was written with Bridget Fonda in mind.
