Family Life: She married composer Mike Verta in 2009 and they had a son together in 2010, named Draco. McKellar filed for divorce in 2012 and it became final in February 2013.

Info: McKellar starred in the television series The Wonder Years as Gwendolyn "Winnie" Cooper. The show ran for six seasons on ABC, from 1988 to 1993. After The Wonder Years, McKellar appeared in a number of other television series, and has written and directed two short films. She had a recurring role in the 2002-03 season of The West Wing.

Is the co-author of a groundbreaking mathematical physics theorem which bears her name, the Chayes-McKellar-Winn Theorem.
