Claim To Fame: He is best known for his role as Willie Tanner on the sitcom Alf.

Family Life: He has been married to his wife Linda since 1965. They have a son Ben and a daughter Daisy.

Info: Wright appeared on TV shows such as WKRP in Cincinnati, and also was a regular cast member on Misfits of Science, AfterMASH, Buffalo Bill and The Norm Show. He appeared in the made-for-TV adaptation of Stephen King's The Stand.

Trivia: Was nominated for Broadway's 1998 Tony Award as Best Actor (Featured Role - Play for "Ivanov."

Was diagnosed with Lymphoma in 1995 and has been in remission ever since.

Bears an uncanny resemblance to Colonel Oliver North's lawyer during the Iran-Contra hearings.

In September of 2003, he lost his driving privileges in New York state for 6 months, following a guilty plea to a drunken-driving charge after running into some mailboxes and a traffic sign.

On January 10, 2000, he was arrested and booked for drunk driving following a non-injury accident in Hollywood, California.

Where Are They Now: Wright has mostly appeared on stage in recent years. He was in the original production of The Great White Hope at The Arena Stage in Washington, D.C. In 2007, he was part of the Jewish Ensemble Theatre in Detroit, and in the production of "No Man's Land" at the American Repertory Theater. In 2010, he played a shepherd in "The Winter's Tale", a "Shakespeare in the Park" production in New York City's Central Park.
