Review: The heroine of the previous installment, Alice (Lisa Wilcox) learns that she's pregnant. Soon she discovers that Freddy Krueger has returned through the dreams of her unborn child. 'ANOES 5: The Dream Child' has some really interesting visuals and a creative concept for a Freddy story, but ultimately even though it's just under 90 minutes, it was tough to get through. It seemed like a quickly thrown together sequel that lacked quality in production value, special effects, and it definitely had pacing problems. There are some creepy scenes and shots and I really enjoyed the sequence that was reminiscent of Relativity by the Dutch artist M. C. Escher. This one is really for the fiercest of Freddy fans.
