Now, that sounds like a recycled plot from every superhero movie for the last 15 years or so, but "Big Hero 6" is smart, fun, and loaded with heart. I didn't know what to expect, but I was thoroughly entertained by the story, characters, and the visuals are beyond amazing!
It's definitely one of the best looking animated movies I've seen in years. It does deal with some heavy issues at times, but the message for kids is well expressed and has great ideas about how to deal with death, fear, friendship, power, and utilizing ones talents. A great movie for both kids and adults. I really enjoyed this one!
Fun Fact: In Fred's library/museum, one of the small statuettes in the background book case is Elastigirl from The Incredibles (2004).
