Claim To Fame: Danny Pintauro is an American actor best known for his role as Jonathan Bower on the popular ABC sitcom 'Who's the Boss?', as well as his role in the 1983 film adaptation of Stephen King's Cujo.

Family Life: In April 2013 he was engaged to his boyfriend, Wil Tabares, and they married in April 2014.

In 1997, the National Enquirer tabloid announced that the young actor was gay.

When 'Who's the Boss?' ended, Pintauro took time off from acting to attend Middlesex County College in Edison, New Jersey, and later Stanford University to study English and theater. He graduated in 2001.

Pintauro turned to stage acting, making his New York theatre debut in 1999 in The Velocity of Gary (Not His Real Name), a solo play by acclaimed playwright James Still.

He has starred in several stage productions including Paula Vogel's play 'Hot 'n' Throbbing' at the Arena stage in Washington DC, in New York in SourceWorks Theatre's revival of A Queer Carol, a contemporary twist on the Dickens holiday classic, and in the Charlotte (N.C.) Repertory Theatre's production of 'Gross Indecency'.

Revealed that he has been HIV positive since 2003.

Majored in drama at Stanford University.

Played trumpet in the Leland Stanford University Marching Band (LSJUMB).

He worked as a Tupperware sales representative.

In 2013, he managing a restaurant in Las Vegas.

Where Are They Now: As of 2019, it appears that Pintauro has left stage and screen for a career in a much more caring profession, working as a vet tech at Austin Pets Alive.
