Trivia: His first acting role was as a patrolman in Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home.

When he played Byron Sully in Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman (1993), he insisted on doing almost all his own stunts. Lando said doing his own stunt work made the character feel more real to him. In addition, he admitted that some stunts, such as eating worms and running on top of a moving train, were things that he would probably never have an opportunity to do again.

Worked with actress and friend Jane Seymour on Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman (1993), Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman: The Movie (1999), Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman: The Heart Within (2001), Perfectly Prudence (2011), and Dr. Quinn, Morphine Woman with Jane Seymour (2014).

In 2014, Lando joined several Dr. Quinn castmates as they all reprised their roles for the "Funny or Die" parody Dr. Quinn, Morphine Woman.

Where Are They Now: Currently, Lando is starring in the horror short Hammurabi (2019) which is in post-production. He has also completed work on the TV Movie Paloma's Flight which should be out in 2020.
