Claim To Fame: Some of his well known roles include Dan Fielding on the series Night Court and John Hemingway on The John Larroquette Show.

Family Life: He is married to Elizabeth Ann Cookson and they have three children.

Info: Larroquette began his career in entertainment after a stint in the Naval Reserve. He started out as a disc jockey, then moved on to TV and movie voiceovers, and finally made his network TV debut in 1975 as Dr. Paul Herman in Doctors' Hospital.

He played assistant district attorney and ladies man Dan Fielding on the sitcom Night Court from 1984-1992, a role which won him four Best Supporting Actor Emmy awards. In 1994, he played a recovering alcoholic on The John Larroquette Show.

Some of Larroquette's film roles include Richie Rich opposite Macauley Culkin, Blake Edwards' Blind Date, as well costarring roles in Summer Rental, Stripes, Altered States and Twilight Zone: The Movie.

Trivia: Enjoys collecting rare books.

Battled alcoholism in the 70s and 80s.

Where Are They Now: Larroquette joined the cast of Boston Legal in 2007, playing the role of lawyer Carl Sack. He also made guest appearances on the drama House and on Chuck as veteran spy Roan Montgomery.

He provided the voice in Phineas and Ferb for lifeguard Bob Weber, as well as a man to marry his wife and the boy's aunt Tiana Weber in another episode. In 2010, he was cast as Chief Carver on CSI: NY.

In 2009, he made his musical stage debut in the Los Angeles production of How the Grinch Stole Christmas! as Old Max. His Broadway debut came in 2011 in the revival of How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying as J. B. Biggley.

He won the Tony Award for Best Featured Actor in a Musical and the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Featured Actor in a Musical for his performance in the show.

He currently appears on Broadway in a revival of Gore Vidal's The Best Man.
