Family Life: In 2002, Yothers married an electrician, Robert Kaiser, who had a daughter from a previous marriage. They have two children, daughter Lillian Grace 'Lilly' and a son, Robert Jake.

Info: Her father, Robert Yothers, was a television producer.

She has three brothers, Jeffrey and Randy (twins), and Cory, who all acted in commercials as children. Randy made several TV appearances as a child actor in the early 1970s credited as "Poindexter" Yothers. Cory appeared in numerous films and television shows throughout the early 1980s, often credited as "Bumper" Yothers.

Trivia: Yothers began her acting career in television advertisements at age three.

Her first cinema role was in the 1981 television film The Cherokee Trail.

In 1982, she starred in her first feature film Shoot the Moon.

Her most famous role was as Jennifer Keaton, the younger daughter in the television comedy Family Ties from 1982 to 1989.

Was sick with the flu on her first day of filming Family Ties (1982); she ran to the bathroom every 5 minutes, and was afraid that the producers would fire her.

Her Family Ties co-star Michael J. Fox gave her the nickname "Bear".

In 1983, Yothers was a nominee for the Young Artist Award for Best Young Actress in a New Television Series for her work on Family Ties.

In 1984, Yothers was a nominee for the Best Young Actress in a Comedy Series for Family Ties.

In 1985, Yothers won the Young Artist Award for Best Young Supporting Actress in a Television Comedy Series for Family Ties.

In 1987, she wrote the book Being Your Best: Tina Yothers's Guide for Girls.

Yothers also sang a cover of The Raes song "Baby I'm Back in Love Again", which she would later record as a single, in a Family Ties episode "Band on the Run".

In 1989, Yothers was a nominee for the Young Artist Award for Best Young Actress Starring in a Television Comedy Series for Family Ties.

Ranked #46 in VH1's list of the "100 Greatest Kid Stars".

Competed in the Battle of the Network Stars in December 1988.

After Family Ties ended, Yothers abandoned her blonde hair color and has mostly worn it black.

Yothers formed the band Jaded with her brother Cory 'Bumper' Yothers. She provided the lead vocals while Cory played keyboard.

In 1998, Jaded released their self-titled CD, which was co-written by Cory Yothers, Michael Anderson, Tina Yothers and performed by Tina Yothers (lead vocals), Michael Anderson (guitars/vocals), Jerry France (guitars/vocals), Larry Rosales (drums), Mike Wilson (bass) and Phil Jordan from No Doubt on trumpet, along with a DJ.

In 2004, after a nine-year absence from acting, Yothers was given the lead role in Lovelace the Musical, a stage show based on the life of former pornographic film star Linda Lovelace.

In 2006, Yothers appeared on the fourth season of the VH1 reality television show Celebrity Fit Club. And sfter Yothers's second pregnancy, she appeared on Celebrity Fit Club: Boot Camp to try get back to her post-Fit Club weight.

In 2012, she was featured on the ABC show Celebrity Wife Swap, where she traded places with Niecy Nash of Reno 911!.

In February 2013, Yothers appeared on an episode of the TLC series What Not To Wear.

Where Are They Now: It would appear that Yothers is no longer acting and has purposefully distanced herself from the spotlight over the years. Hopefully, Yothers makes a comeback thru a new TV series, reality show, or maybe a Family Ties reboot/spin-off.
