Departed from Felicity in 2000 was that she needed to grieve for her mother. Her mother had died two years previously and she felt that being on such a prominent show hadn't given her the time or space to do so.

Bears such as strong resemblance to fellow actress Jennifer Garner, fans often confuse the two, and whenever this happens, Johnson takes it in stride and sometimes signs autographs as Garner if asked for one.

Johnson received a nomination for Best Performance by an Actress in a Continuing Leading Dramatic Role at the 24th Annual Gemini Awards in 2009.

Where Are They Now: In 2019, Johnson is working on a TV Mini-Series titled The Has Been, according to imdb, is about an aging bankrupt "A-list" actress who desperately turns to the Comic Con world to pay off her looming debts. And Johnson's next directorial effort Tammy's Always Dying is currently in post-production.
