Review: Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) and the rest of the Avengers unite to battle their most powerful enemy yet -- the evil Thanos (Josh Brolin). On a mission to collect all six Infinity Stones, Thanos plans to use the artifacts to inflict his twisted will on reality. The fate of the planet and existence itself has never been more uncertain as everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment.

Avengers: Infinity War is the third Avengers film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The Avengers films are the big, comprehensive superhero team-up films in the MCU, and this one is one super team-up. While this film isn't perfect, the film does it's best as we follow a wide array of heroes. Some are in space, others are on Earth, and others are in the Sub-Saharan country of Wakanda. Needless to say, there are superheroes far and wide who are doing everything to prevent the mad titan, Thanos from wiping out half of the world's population. All of our storylines eventually converge and culminate with a battle for the ages. More or less, Avengers: Infinity War is a film about Thanos and his motivations for executing his disastrous plan. The stakes are higher than they have ever been, and Thanos is the most imposing, interesting, and misguided villain that the MCU has ever seen. Despite the madness, there is humor throughout, and the action is impeccable. Even if you're not a fan of the MCU, this movie will captivate you and leave you wondering about what happens next. This is a fantastic film with a fantastic ensemble cast, and an absolute must-see flick!

Fun Fact: Tom Holland was not allowed to read the script for this movie, since he revealed too many secrets for Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017). In one of the promotional videos for the movie, several of its cast members are in an interrogation room refusing to reveal any spoilers, and Holland's mouth is conspicuously taped shut. Mark Ruffalo revealed that he was given a fake script due to his habit of accidentally spoiling past Marvel movies. He jokingly claimed in an interview that the fake script was better than the real one.
