Review: When Karen Barclay (Catherine Hicks) gives her son Andy (Alex Vincent) a Good Guy doll for his birthday, it should be all fun and games, but they soon discover that batteries are not included, but the soul of a vicious serial killer IS! Dolls freak me out! And this movie about a killer doll has been nothing but nightmare fuel for me since I was a kid. This is one scary movie that still holds up. Chucky is mean, vile, and evil to the core - all the makings for a memorable screen villain, my hats off to endlessly talented Brad Dourif. And Catherine Hicks really sells that Chucky is alive and out for blood. It's fun, scary, and a horror classic that has spawned countless sequels, so they must have done something right.

Fun Fact: Catherine Hicks (Karen) and Kevin Yagher (Chucky's creator) met on set and were married a year later.
