Review: Based on the Gregory McDonald novel, definitely worth a read, Fletch follows newspaper reporter Irwin M. "Fletch" Fletcher (Chevy Chase) as he investigates a millionaire (Tim Matheson) who's offered him a large sum to kill him. If that wasn't enough the further the investigation takes Fletch the more twisted, alarming, and conspiratorial things become. Now, this movie is a great comedy. I've made it sound like it's 'All the President's Men', but it's Chevy Chase at his best. He takes on various personas and disguises to unravel this mystery using only his quick wit and cunning to come out on top. The jokes, silly names, and Chase's deadpan delivery make me laugh with every viewing. "Can I borrow your towel for a sec? My car just hit a water buffalo."

Fun Fact: Chevy Chase has mentioned in interviews that Fletch is his favorite of his movies, because it gave him the "opportunity to be himself".
