Review: The Incredibles are back! The Parr family is ready to take on a new mission, which involves a change in family roles: Bob Parr, aka Mr. Incredible (Craig T. Nelson), must manage the house while his wife Helen, aka Elastigirl (Holly Hunter), suits up and ventures out to save the world.
I saw Incredibles 2 without knowing anything about it other than the baby, Jack-Jack, was a big part of the movie. He is, and he is the best part of an amazing movie and is not only better than its predecessor, but it's one of the best sequels of all time!
All of the characters, and their various plots, are interesting, play out and pay off wonderfully. From Mr. Incredible's Mr. Mom plot to Violet's boyfriend troubles, I can't wait to see more from this franchise. It took 14 years from the first Incredibles movie to get the sequel, and it was so worth the wait.
I loved this movie! It's fun, sweet, exciting, and entertaining on a level that made me feel like a kid again. I was so invested in the story, characters, and the visuals that my disbelief was completely suspended. I don't want to say too much about this movie, no spoilers. Just take my word for it...Incredibles 2 is animated superhero family fun perfection! See this movie.
Fun Fact: Incredibles 2 made more money domestically in one weekend (one hundred eighty million dollars) than Pixar's previous summer release Cars 3 (2017) earned in its entire release of twenty weeks (one hundred fifty-three million dollars).
