Review: Based on Raymond Chandler's novel "Farewell My Lovely", "Murder, My Sweet" stars Dick Powell as Private Eye Philip Marlowe. When Marlowe is hired to find an ex-con's former flame he's sent down a winding road of deceit, mystery, and murder. This is film-noir to its core. Dick Powell's portrayal of Philip Marlowe was so true to the literary character that he earned the approval of Raymond Chandler himself...and that's no easy feat. Noir fans, you must see this adaptation.
