Review: Sharpshooter Matt Quigley (Tom Selleck) is hired by an Australian rancher (Alan Rickman) for his unique skill set. But when Quigley arrives Down Under, all is not as it seems. Tom Selleck is charming as ever in this western that combines that classic western feel with some humor, heart, and humanity. Selleck is great, as always, but the real gems in this one are Laura San Giacomo and Alan Rickman. San Giacomo is a real spitfire and has amazing chemistry with Selleck. And what's not to like about the late Alan Rickman? He's great as the villainous Elliott Marston. Much like he was in Die Hard, he's smart, cunning and you just love to hate him. The cinematography really shows off the picturesque landscapes in all their glory. Likeable characters and a very interesting story of the Aboriginal people being stripped of their culture and land are quite compelling. If you're a fan of westerns, Selleck, Rickman, or the land down under. this one is definitely worth a watch!

Fun Fact: Alan Rickman decided to take the part because filming was taking place in Australia. He always wanted to visit Australia.
