Review: When Lex Luthor gets elected US President, he wants Superman gone for good. Using the impending threat of an oncoming kryptonite meteor rocketing towards Earth, Luthor frames the Man of Steel for murder and turns both villains and heroes against him. Batman becomes Superman's only ally to stop Lex and save the world from total destruction. I'm not one for the new live-action DC Comics movies, but I love the animated ones. In "Superman/Batman: Public Enemies" you get Superman being Superman. You get Batman being Batman. And you get action, visuals, a story, characters, and surprises that will please and delight any comic book fan. This is definitely one of the most action-packed animated features, and it's also packed with dozens upon dozens of heroes and villains of the DC archives. It's fun and exciting watching the Dark Knight Detective and the Man of Steel team-up to save the world from the evil megalomaniac Lex Luthor. The story is simple, the characters are spot-on, and the action is almost non-stop. A big recommendation to all Batman, Superman, and DC Comics fans out there!
Fun Fact: Although they are mentioned by name, Superman and Batman's alter egos, Clark Kent and Bruce Wayne respectively, do not make an appearance.
