Review: An assassin (Chow Yun-Fat) begins to question his chosen profession after accidentally blinding a young singer (Sally Yeh). With a tough cop (Danny Lee) and his double-crossing boss hot on his trail, this contract killer must go out guns blazing! John Woo has made two of the most impressive action movies oever put on film, Hard Boiled (1992) and The Killer. It's one part character drama and the rest is a no holds barred action extravaganza that's a ballet of bullets and blood. The action is so stylized and choreographed that countless movies have been ripping this classic for years. It's an action-packed masterpiece that truly puts a vast majority of action films to shame. It's a blast!
