Review: A veteran hunter (Jeremy Renner) helps an FBI agent (Elizabeth Olsen) to investigate the murder of a young woman on a Native American reservation in Wyoming. Writer Taylor Sheridan has created another masterpiece about people living hard lives in harsh environments. (See Sicario and Hell or High Water). This was my favorite movie of 2017. The writing, acting, cinematography, directing... All Brilliant! This movie is a must-see! It's not an action-adventure movie, it's more of a character study drama, with grim subject matter and graphic violence. A truly memorizing story with great characters. I can't recommend it enough!
Fun Fact: Jon Bernthal lost four toenails filming the trailer scene.
