Adrienne has starred in over 25 musicals and plays, among them "Pump Boys & Dinettes"; "Women Behind Bars"; Kander and Ebb's "And the World Goes Round"; "The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas"; "Love Letters"; the West coast premieres of "A Walk on the Wild Side" and "Drop Dead"; the Canadian premiere of Neil Simon's "Lost in Yonkers"; and the world premiere of "What the Rabbi Saw"

Most recently she returned to "Fiddler on the Roof" as Tevye's wife, Golde. "I figure if I live long enough, I'll be playing Golde's grandmother, Tzeitle."

Trivia: Was nominated for a Tony Award for her portrayal of bad-girl Rizzo in the original Broadway production of "Grease".

Where Are They Now: Barbeau starred in the HBO series Carnivale from 2003 to 2005.

She had a cameo role in Rob Zombie's Halloween, but her scene was cut from the theatrical version of the film and only included in the DVD version.

In 2009, she played the Cat Lady in the family comedy The Dog Who Saved Christmas, appeared in the love story Reach for Me, and had guest spots in the first episode of Showtime's hit series Dexter (season 4), as well as on Grey's Anatomy.

From 2010-2011, she had a long-running role on the ABC daytime soap opera General Hospital as Suzanne Stanwyck.

In 2012, she provided the voice of UNSC scientist Dr. Tilson for the game Halo 4, which was released for the Xbox 360. Recently, Barbeau has also made appearances on a number of TV series, including Sons of Anarchy, Hell's Kitty and Criminal Minds.

Aside from acting, Barbeau is also a published author. Her autobiography There Are Worse Things I Could Do was published in 2006 by Carroll & Graf, rising to #11 on the Los Angeles Times best-sellers list. She published her first novel, Vampyres of Hollywood, in July 2008. The sequel Love Bites was published in 2010.
