If you love the physical, slapstick comedy of the Three Stooges and Jackass, then Hot Rod might be right up your alley. This movie is so stupid, goofy, and silly that it makes this man-child giggle like I'm getting a 90 minute visit from the Tickle-Monster.
The whole cast is hilarious. From Andy Samberg and Bill Hader to Danny McBride and Isla Fisher, your side is guaranteed to hurt from laughing. The really secret weapons of this one have to be veteran actors like Sissy Spacek and Ian McShane thrown in the mix. They are both great actors that can do it all...and Hot Rod proves it.
If you just want to laugh and watch some stunts go hilariously wrong, then Hot Rod might just rev your engine!
Fun Fact: Samberg had his own stunt double, but performed many of his own stunts as he was allowed to, like the pool jump.
