Review: Peter Parker (Tom Holland) takes on his most difficult challenge yet - High School! But when he's not cramming for a Spanish quiz or joining the debate team he's protecting all of Queens as his superhero alter-ego Spider-Man. Now, Spidey is on the trail of a new winged menace that's terrorizing the skies.

Spider-Man: Homecoming is audience's third go-around with the Marvel Comics web-slinger and, well, third time is the charm! My "spider-sense" was tingling with delight throughout the movie because, besides the fun, humor, and heart, they got Peter Parker/Spider-Man perfect! Tom Holland is wonderful as both the awkward high schooler and as "Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man." His character, his obstacles (both big and small), and his relationships with best friend Ned, Aunt May, Tony Stark, Liz, pretty much all the characters, even the villainous Vulture (Michael Keaton) make this Spider-Man an interesting, well rounded hero and kid.

Michael Keaton is awesome as our antagonist. He's not a mustache twirling villain bend on world domination. He's a guy with clear motivations that make sense to both him and the audience, which is very refreshing for a superhero movie. The supporting cast (Robert Downey Jr., Marisa Tomei, Jon Favreau, Zendaya, Donald Glover, Jacob Batalon, and Laura Harrier) makes Peter Parker's world seem real, fun, and exciting.

And besides the intense action and spectacle you'd expect from Spider-Man: Homecoming you get some of the best belly laughs. Besides Thor: Ragnarok, Spider-Man: Homecoming is practically a straight up comedy. So many superhero movies these days are dark, dower, and depressing. Here we get likable characters, a simple story, and humor that keeps us engaged and entertained.

I can't recommend Spider-Man: Homecoming enough! It's a wall-crawling, web-slinging, spider-sense tingling good time!
