Review: You boys like Mex-eee-co?! Always looking for action, five over-enthusiastic but under-stimulated Vermont State Troopers raise hell on the highway, keeping motorists anxiously looking in their rear-view mirrors. Between an ongoing feud with the local cops over whose you-know-what is bigger, and the state government wanting to shut them down, the "Super Troopers" find themselves precariously and hilariously heading toward calamity as they try to avoid extinction. Super Troopers is a mindless, low-budget comedy, but it's executed to perfection. The slapstick comedy bits from the infamous Broken Lizard comedy group are at their best in this cult classic. Their chemistry really drives this movie, as the genuineness of their relationship is just as apparent on-screen as it is off. Super Troopers also boasts one of the funniest opening scenes in cinema history, as two of our troopers hilariously toy with a group of stoned teenagers for their own amusement. I highly recommend this film. It's a funny, entertaining take on the incompetent law enforcement comedy. Stop what you're doing, cut out the shenanigans, and watch this movie right meow!

Fun Fact: Kevin Heffernan's mother and father wanted to be in their son's movie, and Heffernan agreed, but he wouldn't tell them anything about their scene. They're the couple who Farva (Heffernan's character) pulls over and calls, "chickenf*****s." The parents knew their son was going to say something rude, but were caught off guard when Heffernan delivered the line. The scene took 25 takes to shoot.
