Review: No rules. No speed limits. Just pure fun. That's Action Point both as a movie and as an amusement park - FUN! If you're looking for a movie that will change your life, inspire you, or alter the film-making community for generations to come...Action Point is definitely NOT that movie.

Action Point is made for fans of the Jackass TV series and movies, Bad Grandpa, Johnny Knoxville, and bone-crunching hilarious stunts, and for that it's great! But honestly, the movie is barely a movie. It is filled with the lamest of cliches, a weak script, many uninteresting characters, and seems to be missing scenes and gives off the feeling that it was hap-haphazardly edited together. But I enjoyed it all the same. Nothing makes me happier than seeing Johnny Knoxville throwing safety to the wind and risky bodily harm for our amusement - Pun intended.

I've seen enough movies to recognize a bad one. This is a bad movie, but I think it's a highly entertaining bad movie. Johnny Knoxville is incredibly charming and entertaining. I'll watch him in almost anything. Action Point is one of those movies that teenage boys will love, re-watch, and quote endlessly. And as old as I am I had a great time with Action Point and might just visit it again and again.

Fun Fact: All the injuries Johnny Knoxville suffered while filming the movie were: four concussions, two blow-out fractures of his left eye, a broken hand, a broken orbital lamina, two and half teeth lost, multiple cuts and a torn meniscus.
